Kewatec has successfully delivered the Kewatec ePassenger 2400, named Elsnabben, to Styrsöbolaget. The contract was signed in June 2024, and the vessel was delivered on schedule in June 2026. Elsnabben will operate on Göta Älv in Gothenburg as part of public transport.

Built for Modern Passenger Service
The Kewatec ePassenger 2400 is designed for 148 passengers and operated by a crew of two. The vessel is fully accessible, with practical boarding, comfortable passenger areas, an interior cabin, a sun deck, and dedicated space for bicycles.
The vessel measures 24,8 metres in length and 6,6 metres in beam. It is powered by two 180 kW Danfoss electric motors, with a total battery capacity of 299 kWh and a 130 kVA range extender. Cruising speed is 9 knots, with a top speed of 12 knots.
