Kewatec has delivered 10 tailor-made Category C patrol boats to the Cyprus Port and Marine Police. Kewatec Patrol 850 boats are designed specifically to support their operational needs in maritime surveillance, rescue operations, and law enforcement.
Each vessel is equipped with modern navigation, telecommunication, electronic, and rescue systems, enabling the detection and identification of individuals and vessels from long distances.
The official handover ceremony took place at the Port of Limassol, attended by the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, Police Chief Mr. Themistos Arnaoutis, and other officials. The acquisition was co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus under the Financial Support Instrument for Border Management and Visa Policy.
