Kewatec has signed a contract for a new pilot boat to serve the pilotage needs in Gdansk. This model, Pilot 1630, represents the third boat for the same customer. The boat will be manufactured and designed in Kokkola.
The plan is to start production during this year and deliver the boat to the customer in the spring of 2025. The new contract strengthens Kewatec’s reputation as a supplier of pilot boats and expands the company’s reference portfolio in the infrastructure sector.
Previously, two sister boats, Pilot 23 and Pilot 24, have been delivered to the same customer and have proven to be excellent, meeting the demanding needs of the pilotage environment. The Pilot 1630 model combines robust construction, advanced technology, and reliable performance, making it a reliable choice for all pilotage missions.
Kewatec looks forward to cooperating with Gdansk Pilot and believes that the new pilot boat will complement the fleet and effectively serve the maritime needs of the region.
