FiFi 1980

FiFi 1980 excels in demanding firefighting and rescue tasks. It boasts two separate fire pumps, and three remote-controlled fire monitors, with one even positioned on the top of the remote-controlled crane.

The vessel’s protection features include cooling water shields on the hull and wheelhouse sides, complemented by visual and heat-detecting cameras that facilitate identifying heat sources.

Effortless maneuvering is achieved through the double installation of efficient Scania DI13 – 551 kW main engines, connected to Rolls-Royce FF550 waterjets controlled by joysticks. A hydraulic bow thruster adds extra power for maintaining position during firefighting. Additionally, two 19 kW 400V auxiliary machines are integrated.

The spacious wheelhouse offers excellent visibility in all directions and serves as the command center for the entire fire system. The lower floor accommodates a shipping office, a comfortable dining area, and a kitchen.

The vessel, along with its equipment, adheres to inland navigation regulations and ADN rules. It’s designed for operations in potentially explosive and toxic gas environments, ensuring internal spaces remain over-pressurized through advanced ventilation and AC systems.
