The e-Passenger 1500 is Kewatec’s latest step toward sustainable maritime mobility. This fully electric passenger ferry is designed to operate quietly, efficiently, and with minimal emissions – perfectly suited for the demanding conditions of the Nordic environment.
With a length of 15.8 meters and a beam of 5.2 meters, the vessel combines smart design with passenger comfort. It can carry 36 passengers and one crew member, offering barrier-free access for wheelchairs and strollers. The interior layout includes two toilets—one for passengers and one for crew—ensuring both comfort and practicality.
At its core, the e-Passenger 1500 features a 150 kW electric propulsion system, supported by a 90 kW diesel generator for extended range and reliability. The ferry achieves a top speed of 10 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 8 knots, with a battery-only range of more than 30 nautical miles.
